There's a tournament up for this year's invitational. There are invited players who can win the bragging right prize of the year (along with a custom avatar for the game) and then there's open play for everyone else. If you ever wanted to play and have some fun with Magic, check this tournament out. How better to play Magic online and to have some fun? Enjoy!

    Tired
It's been a bit hectic lately. I haven't had much free time. I was looking to play some Type 1 games with using OCTGN (visit www.cardfloppers.com for more information), but I couldn't find a friend of mine who was on. The Type 1 (Vintage) winning decks for the most recent Star City Games Vintage tournament were posted online and I had hoped to see how my decks would do against them. Maybe I'll have time later in the week to play.

    OCTGN
I've been using OCTGN to play some Vintage (t1) games of Magic: The Gathering online recently and I've had a lot of fun. For more information, visit www.cardfloppers.com.

It's been great to use cards like Black Lotus and all the mox. I've had a lot of fun in just getting together with old friends, building decks, and just playing lots of games. With the OCTGN program, there's a chatroom program that comes with it so you can simply fire up the chat room program, log in, and meet some people to play the game. You have to try it out! Great stuff!

Welcome to my journal. First off, I wanted to tell everyone that I've been using OCTGN for some time now and I love it.  I've been playing Magic: The Gathering for over 11 years now and I really enjoy using OCTGN as a means to play online.  Check out the official Cardfloppers.com site for more information.

If you're looking for some information on how to play Magic online, check out the article I wrote for MTGSalvation.com.  There's a good breakdown of the major ways of playing online.
